Our Foundation, Our Future Kristallis Chartered Accountants was founded by Con Kristallis in 1977 at the original location at 29 Enmore Road, Newtown. Con Kristallis built the foundations of the firm and built the business into a boutique family practice together with his first born son Christopher Kristallis. Con founded a firm culture principally focused on providing quality service to its clients. Andrew Kristallis, second born son of Con Kristallis, joined the firm in 2002 following 6 years professional and managerial experience in two of Sydney’s mid-tier and Big 4 accounting firms. The firm, under the direction and management of Andrew, expanded spectacularly over the next 5 years to quadruple its client base and employs over 15 staff and contractors. To accommodate this rapid expansion, the adjacent business premises located at 27 Enmore Road, Newtown were acquired and extensive renovations were completed to the premises located at 27-29 Enmore Road, Newtown in 2003. Andrew has introduced to the firm and implemented the most up to date technology including paperless office, remote desktop capability, high-end HP small business and application servers, off-site electronic backup storage, dual LCD monitors for all staff and high speed HP desktop computers. The firm has implemented highly sophisticated software and systems to assist our team to provide a high level of service and quality advice to our clients including our Viztopia database, MYOB document manager, Kristallis Intranet, Solution 6 accounting software, AE Tax software, APS Desktop Super SMSF software, Banklink, Praemium, Profit Kristalliser business analysis software. In January 2009, Kristallis Chartered Accountants introduced KristallisPaperless. Since becoming a ‘paperless’ office our firm has not only reduced its carbon footprint, our firm has substantially improved its overall efficiency making all documents easily accessible and creating an electronic backup of client files. Andrew is dedicated to keeping the firm up to date with the latest technology and systems to ensure that we remain one of Sydney’s leading boutique accounting firms.
