Andrew Kristallis B.Com, C.A., J.P

Andrew achieved his Bachelor of Commerce in 1996, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from the University of New South Wales.

Andrew commenced his professional career at Grant Thornton, one of Australia’s leading second tier accounting firm. Andrew was employed with Grant Thornton in the Business Advisory Services division for three years.

It was at Grant Thornton that Andrew formed many long standing business relationships and network, most of which are central to Kristallis Chartered Accountants of today.

Andrew joined one of Australia’s big 4 accounting firm, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in 1999. Andrew was a member of Deloitte Growth Solutions for a period of 3 years and achieved the position of Client Manager.

At Deloitte, Andrew developed his technical skills including preparation of financial reports and income tax returns for complex client groups and high net worth individuals. Andrew also developed skills including business structuring and advice, taxation advice, CGT, GST, payroll tax, FBT, salary packaging, payroll services, company secretarial matters.

Andrew became accustomed to sophisticated technology and systems and subsequently introduced and customised such technology at Kristallis Chartered Accountants.

Andrew joined Kristallis Chartered Accountants in 2002 as the managing director. Under the direction and management of Andrew, the firm expanded spectacularly over a period of 5 years to quadruple its client base and employs over 15 staff and contractors.

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and Justice of the Peace and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

At Kristallis Chartered Accountants, Andrew specialises in business and property structuring, business analysis, accounting and taxation advice. Andrew has a high profile and diverse client base including high net worth individuals and investors, financial planning businesses, mortgage broking businesses, business consultants, solicitors, doctors, retail and manufacturing businesses, property developers, tradespersons and contractors.

Andrew has been involved in specialised matters including preparing management reports and administration of:

• the Australian branch of a large multinational mobile & telecommunications service provider whose offices are located in Singapore;
• the Australian subsidiary of a large multinational anti-virus software provider whose offices are located in Asia;

Andrew adopts a passionate and practical approach in his dealings with his clients. Andrew also has a keen interest in the professional development of his team, and aims to mentor, facilitate and assist their continuous growth and development.
